Pattern Description:

There is something soothing about a simple leaf. This pattern is for a 12"x12" (12.5"x12.5" unfinished) foundation paper pieced leaf block.

This is a scrap-friendly project that can be sewn in any variety of colors to elicit different seasons or match decor. A single block can be made into a pillow, table runner, bag, or wall-hanging, or you can join multiple blocks to make a larger quilt.

This pattern includes a printable foundation paper piecing pattern, but does not include specific piecing instructions. A general foundation paper piecing knowledge is assumed. There are paper joining tips included in this pattern, since pattern pieces span two printer pages. Remember to shorten your stitch length to 1.2 to improve ease of paper removal when finished.

The pattern includes a stem option on both sides. Choose a side, or use both! 1/4" seam allowances are included on the pattern pieces.
