Spiraling stripes of color travel up the palms of these easy mitts. The Running Threads pattern uses helical knitting to create its stripes. There are no jogs or abrupt color changes, just continuous threads of color. Quick and fun to make, these mitts make a perfect gift for yourself or others.

Choosing your color combinations for these mitts is half the fun! The pattern contains instructions for using 3, 4, or 5 colors in the helical knitting sections.

Gauge is not critical for this pattern, but using a different yarn weight or needle size will affect the size of the finished mitts.
