About the Pattern:

The Dimer beanie has all over cable and texture stitches that give the design a maximalist look. The crown shaping also provides the hat with a sleek silhouette and the crown sticks up above the wearer’s head. The cable and texture patterns are easy to follow and engaging with written instructions and charts for all of the sizes.

Sizing:

Teen, Adult, Adult Large

To fit a head circumference of 18”-20”/46cm-51cm, 20”-22”/51cm-56cm, 22”-24”/56cm-61cm

Yarn:

Suggested yarn: 2 skeins of Roots LITE by Junction Fiber Mill, 100% American Wool in a blend of Merino, Targhee, Corriedale, 200yds/182m in 2oz/50g, or 250yds/300yds, 350yds/228m, 275m/320m.

Needles:

US size 4 (3.50mm) 16” (40cm) circular needle

US size 4 (3.50mm) DPNs or

US size 4 (3.50mm) 24”+ (60cm+) circular for magic loop

Or needle size needed to achieve gauge

Gauge:

32 sts x 42 rounds in cable pattern in the round after blocking = 4” x 4” (10cm x 10cm) with US size 4 (3.50mm)
