This comprehensive 5-Core hour, continuing education e-course, explores the complex relationship between screen use, social media engagement, and adolescent mental health. Drawing from current neuroscience, developmental psychology, and evidence-based research, participants will examine how screen exposure affects adolescent brain development, cognitive functioning, emotional regulation, sleep, anxiety, depression, and overall well-being. The workshop will also review current research on social media's influence on teen mental health and help clinicians distinguish between healthy and problematic technology use patterns.

Participants will gain practical, evidence-based strategies for working with adolescents and families impacted by screen-related concerns. Topics include culturally responsive clinical interventions, psychoeducation tools, family-based approaches for promoting healthy digital habits, and ethical considerations when working with minors in an increasingly digital world.

Upon successful completion of this course and survey, your Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you within 1-3 business days.
