Devotional story of Lord Vamanadeva for children, worksheets included
Lord Vamanadeva is one of the ten major avatars of Lord Vishnu, traditionally known as the Dashavatara in Hindu tradition. The story of His appearance and activities is originally recorded in the sacred Vedic scripture Shrimad Bhagavatam. It's one of those stories that are always relevant because they carry timeless spiritual and moral lessons.
It describes how Lord Vamana appeared as a dwarf-brahmana to save the demigods from the powerful demonic King Bali. However, the story takes an interesting turn, gradually revealing that King Bali is actually a great devotee of Lord Vishnu, whose incarnation is Vamana. He is ready to offer everything he has as a sign of his faithfulness and love for the Lord.
