What did the original, pre-Slavic Iron Age Balts look like, and what was their genetic makeup? In this video, we dive deep into the autosomal breakdowns of two Iron Age individuals from Lithuania: Liepa (from Kalneliai) and Vasil (from Berciunai).

Using the latest v66 dataset, qpAdm modeling, and my custom Andreimix tools, we break down their hunter-gatherer roots, surprising ancestral lineages (including Vasil's East Asian paternal haplogroup), and run a two-way model comparison.

We also explore their advanced phenotypic and health predictions—ranging from eye color and hair texture to genetic predispositions for various health conditions and lactase persistence.
