ALL GROWN UP: VOICES OF MULTILINGUALS IS HERE!

What does it actually mean to grow up multilingual? It’s rarely just about the number of words you know; it’s about identity, politics, and the complex relationships we navigate between our worlds. In this special issue of Little Language Labs, we have curated the lived experiences of grown children from multilingual families .

Through five insightful personal narratives, we explore the diverse facets of the multilingual journey:

• Choosing Basque: Exploring how language is inherently political.
• Keys to the World: A look at language as the ultimate tool for connection.
• Beyond Translation: Understanding that language is often about what isn't said.
• Chain of Intensities: A unique perspective on language as pure energy.

This issue features a global tapestry of voices, featuring language experiences with Basque, Spanish, Arabic, Fante, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Marwari, Mandarin, and more.
