The laughing kookaburra and the galah are two of Australia's most iconic bird species and with this two-pattern set, you can stitch them both in miniature form.

Each design fits neatly into a 4-inch hoop and is also perfect fro greeting cards and other small projects.

  • Size on 14/28-count fabric: 1.7 x 2.4 inches (5.5 x 6cm)
  • Threads: DMC stranded cotton
  • Technique: whole cross stitch* and a small amount of back stitch

*The galah pattern has one 3/4 stitch on the beak.

LAUGHING KOOKABURRA

  • Stitch count: 30 x 34
  • Size on 14/28-count fabric: 2 x 2.5 inches (4 x 6cm)
  • Threads: DMC stranded cotton
  • Technique: whole cross stitch and a small amount of back stitch
