Eoan
Eoan is a top-down triangular shawl that begins with small, textured hearts and evolves into flowing lace. Both parts of the shawl are textured with purl columns, leading into a beautifully textured lace edge based on a secret code lace stitch created by Naomi Parkhurst.
A line of tiny hearts runs down the spine, and the purl columns that flow throughout the design give the reverse side a unique beauty of its own.
- The design can be worked entirely from the written pattern, or from charts with notes.
- The design suits any yardage of lace to sport weight yarn, of solid, semi solid, subtle speckle, or gradient colouring. (Choose needles to suit your yarn & gauge preference.)
The shawl was designed for Dye Diana Dye’s Changes MAL, August 2023.
Eoan means ‘relating to dawn or dusk’, which seems fitting as the colour is called Twilight.
