This kindergarten + first-grade reading comprehension and writing prompt pack includes:

→ 9 different reading comprehension passages.

→ 5 of which had writing prompts. Writing prompts come in two versions. One with a traceable sentence starter and the other with no sentence starter.

→ Each reading comprehension comes with a coloring activity.

You can use these reading comprehension passages as part of your morning meeting. You can also have your students read the passages to you individually while others color the pictures.
