Whelk (Piano Solo)

A piece about the whelk, a cunning marine snail that creeps up to unsuspecting prey. 

On the shore just near our feet

Is a cunning creature who wants to eat.

He bores a hole through his neighbours shell,

Without forewarning, nor warning bell.
