We travelled across Europe with our dog. This is everything we learned.

In spring 2026 we spent two months crossing Denmark, Poland and Germany with Sofus — a 6 kg Cotonese who flew in the cabin, rode the trains, and settled into four apartments in four cities. This guide is the one we wish someone had handed us before we left.

It isn't a list of pet-friendly hotels scraped off the internet.
