In this video, we dive deep into the genomic landscape of Southeast Dagestan, analyzing 48 samples from five indigenous ethnic groups: Lezgins, Tabasarans, Laks, Kaitags, and Dargins. Using advanced tools like qpAdm and f-statistics, we trace their ancestry from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age and explore the unique genetic markers that distinguish mountain Dagestanis from their neighbors.
