Something has fallen from the sky, and it is transforming Jonah’s mountain.

Jonah Hale chose his isolated cabin because nothing ever happens there. Then an alien terraforming device crashes into the forest, bringing with it Va’ren: a wounded, impossibly large being whose survival is connected to the living technology spreading beneath the trees.

Jonah takes Va’ren home to save him. In return, the Seeder identifies Jonah as the missing half of a bond neither man fully understands.

As glowing vines consume the mountain, Jonah and Va’ren become linked through touch, sensation, and thought. The connection might be the only thing capable of controlling the damaged Seeder, but completing it will require Jonah to surrender the independence he has spent his life protecting.

With the transformation advancing toward the town below, Jonah must choose between remaining wholly himself and becoming something powerful enough to save them all.
