Count On Addition Puzzles

Students will use these addition puzzles to practice “counting on” to get the answer. “Counting on,” is an essential skill for helping students become quick at addition facts. Cut and laminate the puzzles for durability. Have students say the first number out loud, and then use the pictures to “count on.” You can also have students use objects and place one on each picture. This will help with counting as they physically “see” how to add on. Finally, students will find their answer and match the puzzle.
