The Defense of Freedom and the Constitution
Did you know that the length of the average constitution in the world is only 17 years? America's Constitution is 239 years old in 2026. That's amazing.
Today, we will focus on the defense of freedom and the people, places, and events surrounding the Constitution. Once again we have Ben Franklin in spirit and words.
Well, a good day to you all. Thank you for having me back. As I recall, we left off with the signing of the Declaration and an understanding that now we must defend our freedom.
We have given you the best government we knew how, with the blessings of Almighty God. The last 239 years have had their ups and downs, and I am sure you question the time you live in. Maybe you are thinking America is just not a good country anymore. Yes, I agree. You live in turbulent times, but you are still a free nation. Never forget that, and ask yourself this question, as a friend of mine from Texas did: Do people want to get into America or get out? If they want to get out, we are lost; if they want to get in, America is worth saving.
