Your kids don’t need another worksheet.
Your kids don’t need another worksheet. They need dirt under their fingernails.
Roots & Becoming is a 4-week family curriculum that trades screen time for seed time, and teaches your kids more about patience, responsibility, and generosity than any textbook ever could.
The best lessons don't come from a curriculum binder.
They come from watching a seed crack open on a windowsill. From kneading bread dough with sticky little hands. From walking something you made next door and handing it to a neighbor.
But those moments don't just *happen.* Not when you're juggling five subjects, three kids, and the never-ending pile of laundry that somehow reproduces overnight.
**That's why I made this.**
Roots & Becoming is four weeks. Four simple movements. And it fits inside the life you already have, not on top of it.
Here's how it works:
**Week 1 Notice.** Your family slows down and actually looks at what's growing, crawling, and changing right outside your door. (Your kids will spot things you've walked past a thousand times.)
**Week 2 Tend.** You plant something. You water it. You watch it. Your kids learn that living things need care and that care takes showing up, not just once, but again and again.
**Week 3 Make.** You bake bread together. Real bread. From scratch. And yes there's a foolproof recipe included because nobody needs a bread-baking crisis on a Tuesday.
**Week 4 Share.** Your family makes or gives something to someone in your community. Not because you have to. Because you've spent three weeks learning what it means to notice, tend, and create and now you get to pass that forward.
That's it. No elaborate supply lists. No prep that takes longer than the activity itself. Just your family, the world right outside your door, and four weeks that will change how your kids see all of it.
Inside this Curriculum you'll find:

That's less than one month of a subscription box that ends up shoved under the couch. This actually sticks.
Personal Note:
I'll be honest with you. I didn't make this to "launch a product."
I made it because my youngest daughter has an incredibly rare medical condition that requires ongoing treatment. And instead of just asking for help which has never come easy for me. I wanted to offer something real. Something that came from the practices we actually use in our own home.
Roots & Becoming started at our kitchen table. With my own kids. During one of the hardest seasons of our family's life.
If it helps your family slow down for even one afternoon watch something grow, make something together, give something away, then it's already done exactly what I hoped it would.
Thank you for being here. Seriously.
