Most task managers assume you have a brain that files things away neatly and remembers what matters without help. This one does not make that assumption.

This is a full Notion system built around the Big Rock technique, a time management method that separates your truly important work (Big Rocks) from the medium stuff (Pebbles) and the low priority noise (Sand). Instead of asking you to sort that out yourself every single day, the system does it automatically based on how urgent and important each task actually is.

What is inside:

Areas. The handful of broad categories your life sorts into, such as Work, Health, or Finances. Everything else connects back to one of these.

Goals. Outcomes you are working toward, each with a due date, a Motivation field for why it matters, and a Reward field for what you get when it is done. Progress updates on its own as you complete linked tasks.

Tasks. Where the real work lives. Every task gets a Priority and Due Date, and the built in Urgency formula turns those into a Big Rock, Pebble, or Sand label so you never have to guess what to do first. Includes fields for time estimates, blocked status with a reason, recurring tasks, and the ability to break a heavy task into smaller sub-tasks.

Notes. A home for ideas, reflections, reference material, journal entries, and anything else worth writing down. Tag, pin, and archive as needed.

Resources. A queue for articles, videos, podcasts, and documents you want to get to, tracked from Inbox through Reviewing to Reviewed.

Habits and Habit Log. Daily and weekly routines tracked separately from one off tasks, with completion % and a grid view of the entire month along with a one click way to log today's check in.

A Getting Started guide. A dedicated page that walks you through how every database connects, how the relations work, and how to actually use the system day to day, so you are never staring at an empty template wondering where to begin.

Who this is for:

Anyone with ADHD, or anyone who finds that traditional planners and task apps create more overwhelm than they solve. If you have ever opened a to do list and immediately closed it again because it felt like too much, this system was built with that exact moment in mind.
