From being completely useless at coding to a tech lead.

If you want to learn programming in JavaScript with a clear guide and know exactly what you're learning, this will probably catch your attention.

first, let me tell you this story really quickly.

This is my story.

It’s for you if you want to learn how I went from hating programming and constantly failing my courses to...

In 2012, I studied telecommunications engineering.

I didn't know how to build software. I didn't know how to learn software development. I didn't like it at all.

I was failing programming exams and wasn't delivering my exercises on time. I was very depressed with software development.

My classmates ridiculed me. They said that I would never work as a software developer.

In 2018, after finishing my degree, I attended a software interview at a tech company in Madrid. I took it as a challenge.

I loved the energy of the team. I loved Madrid. I loved the project. They accepted me, and I said yes to the job offer.

I started working at the tech company on July 23, 2018.

I received tremendous support from my team, and my boss helped me to do my first linse of code in the company.

After many hours of work, I discovered that my passion is front-end development.

I studied everything I could find on front-end development. I took the best courses, studied with successful developers, and applied everything I learned in my projects. I did all that to be my best version as a front-end developer.

And the results were pretty phenomenal.

In just 6 months, I got promoted.

In 2 years, I went from sucking at building software to being a team leader and senior front-end developer.

My results:

- I got promoted over 5 times

- At age 26, I got promoted to team lead

- At age 28, I got promoted to front-end tech lead

- Millions of active users enjoy the projects where I have worked

- I have worked on over 5 projects as a tech lead and senior front-end developer

In the last 2 years, I’ve helped over 1,000 front-end devs improve their skills. Through newsletter posts, LinkedIn, and private mentorships.

I know what I’m talking about when it comes to front-end development.

From not knowing how to code, failing subjects, to landing jobs I never imagined.

Learning is hard. Really hard. I know it for sure.

Spending long hours in front of teh screen?

That too.

Searching and practicing for hours in front of the computer.

Courses, videos, whatever I could find online.

Hour after hour,

day after day,

week after week...

No calls came, no messages came, no interviews came...

Nothing...

But,

One day, over a few days, things changed.

That’s how it happened.

The accumulation of days.

It paid off.

So,

I wanted to create this JavaScript course for you to try.

JavaScript is the king of programming languages.

Tons of job opportunities require it. Don't just take my word for it. Do a quick Google search and see for yourself.

I’m not really into statistics, but last time I checked, it was the most used programming language and the one creating the most jobs.

Feeling comfortable, working from home, enjoying life.

Sounds good.

I believed in it.

This course is ambitious. It aims to take you from not knowing how to code to mastering the basics—the essentials to build your first programs and projects.

Not in 4 steps, not in one afternoon, but by going through its 8 modules and spending 10-15 minutes a day for 3-4 months.

Let me tell you more now so you can take a look at it at your own pace.

Points covered inside:

  • A way to build a JavaScript app that makes random jokes.

  • The best way I know to name your dog or cat in your JavaScript program, or anything else that’s a string, using JS dynamically.

  • The way you should avoid to make sure your program runs smoothly without screen freezes or unintended text changes. It's specifically about how you create variables that you should avoid, and you might have been doing it this way.

  • Types of conditionals you can use. Here’s everything. The most suitable ones depending on the problem you’re facing, with examples.

  • The main reason the programs fail (even when the code looks correct at first glance). It's often overlooked. It’s solved with a good practice you can apply every time you write JavaScript and implement it right away.

  • Step-by-step guide to learning JavaScript from scratch (even if you've never coded before) until you can build a small program with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • The essential structures in JavaScript to avoid looking like a complete beginner and master programming. Not just in front-end but also in back-end. You can use them anytime and anywhere you work with JavaScript. They’re all inside.

  • The roadmap to learning JavaScript in your early programming days is exactly the 8 modules inside the course. Following them in order and completing the practical challenges will help.

AND THERE'S MORE

The course has 8 complete modules.

But there’s also a final project using everything you’ve learned. The project uses HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You get the full project to implement on your PC and see it in action. Even if you know nothing, this project alone teaches you the fundamentals to build a small, functional, and useful program.

AND ONE THING MORE

A final section with 3 key clean code tips. Not 1. Not 2. 3. Exactly 3 tips that don’t just help you code but make it look like you actually know what you’re doing. Essential for maintainability and readability.

Questions

What’s included?

Whether you’re starting from scratch or already know some programming, the material is useful for both. You’ll walk away with the tools you need.
