A Prayer For All Seasons of Life
When I was about twelve years old, I was given a small black prayerbook as a Child of Mary. I carried its prayers for a lifetime. One day I realized the little book had fallen apart, and I no longer had it. I looked for it online. I looked in the bookstores of Dublin. I found no trace of it.
So I rebuilt it.
A Prayer for All Seasons of Life gathers the prayers I learned and relied on growing up in Ireland under the tutelage of the Irish nuns: the Rosary, the Memorare, the Angelus, the Way of the Cross, the Anima Christi, De Profundis, and the O Antiphons of Advent, among many others. To them I have added prayers for the needs of ordinary life: for finding what is lost, for honest work and daily bread, for relief of pain, for peace of mind, for family and home.
Every prayer has a page to itself, in large, quiet type, so you can open the book anywhere and simply be with one prayer. The pages are 4 x 5 inches and read well on a phone, a tablet or a computer.
It will not fall apart.
