This is a PDF file for a knitting pattern for what I'm calling under sleeves. They were popular during Jane Austen's time, but were shorter. I made these longer to have warmth all the way down my arms.
These were made using a lace weight yarn is a wool, silk blend. 550 yards of yarn was used, about 50g on US size 0 double pointed knitting needles.
The top has eyelets to thread a ribbon through to keep the sleeve in place.
A very repeative design that is both written and charted is used through out. Decreases are used to shape the sleeve down to the wrist.
