Welsh Numbers - Printable PDF
It’s surprising how often we use numbers every day… so learning them in Welsh is actually REALLY useful 😂 If you want to feel more confident using Welsh / Cymraeg numbers in everyday life, THESE ARE FOR YOU! ☺️🏴
I’ve created this set of Welsh numbers flashcards as a learning resource to help beginners learn how to count in Welsh, understand how Welsh numbers are formed and practise their pronunciation📚
The resource covers numbers 0–29, the tens from 30–100, and explains how the same pattern can be used to build larger numbers using the decimal Welsh number system💯
Each card includes:
- the number
- the number written in Welsh
- a simple pronunciation guide
- the English meaning
- pronunciation or number-building tips where needed
I’ve also included extra learning pages explaining how Welsh numbers are structured, examples showing how to build larger numbers, and a little information about the decimal and traditional Welsh number systems😊
This resource is designed to be simple and easy to use whether you’re just starting to learn Welsh, brushing up on your numbers and pronunciation, or want something visual to refer back to while practising.
Available in two versions:
Digital version – ideal for viewing on your phone, tablet or computer
Printable version – arranged ready for you to print, cut out and use as physical flashcards
I was a Welsh learner myself, so these have been created with other learners in mind; keeping everything as clear, simple and beginner-friendly as possible ❤️
Please note that Welsh pronunciation and the way numbers are used can vary depending on dialect, region and context. This resource focuses on the decimal counting system and common forms to give beginners a clear starting point.
