Ceramics Now Magazine Issue 10 (May 2025) features the vibrant, narrative-driven work of Eun-Ha Paek on the cover, whose ceramic forms blend humor and vulnerability to reflect on identity, contradiction, and the quiet power of personal symbols like hair. This issue brings together essays, profiles, and exhibitions that reflect the evolving language of contemporary ceramics.

Cammi Climaco writes on Sharif Farrag: Hybrid Moments at Jeffrey Deitch, examining the artist's energetic fusion of cultural identity, fantasy, and personal mythology. Anne-Brit Soma Reienes and Per Ditlef Fredriksen contribute with The Temporality of Creative Thinging, a philosophical exploration of movement and clay. Nancy M. Servis reflects on legacy, education, and collecting in her piece about the 80th Scripps College Ceramic Annual. Rita Mikučionytė surveys curatorial narratives at the 8th Vilnius Ceramic Art Biennial, while Tontouristen Kollektiv explores the complex realities behind clay extraction and the narratives embedded in place and material.

This issue also presents the work of four contemporary artists: Philsoo Heo, Hanna Miadzvedzeva, Alice Shields, and Yuriy Musatov.

Featured exhibitions include Eun-Ha Paek at Stroll Garden Los Angeles, Roberto Lugo at Princeton University Art Museum, Bente Skjøttgaard at CLAY Museum Denmark, Elsa Sahal at Galerie Papillon Paris, a solo show by Simona Janišová in Bratislava, alongside 2025 NCECA exhibitions in Salt Lake City.
