Riding School Scheme of Work - Novice
Designed for the riding school - but equally useful to the freelance coach - this scheme of work provides 12 weeks of session content to develop the rider who has moved off the lead rein and is beginning to ride independently in the walk and trot. As a centre manager myself, I appreciate the need for safety and high standards of horse welfare to be maintained at all time, alongside offering riders a varied and engaging curriculum to aid client retention.
Upon completion of the sessions, most riders will be ready to progress into a more advanced lesson and those who are not will simply start the programme again. The warm up and cool down of each session will remain much the same, and the main content for each week is detailed weekly in the plan attached.
There are also schemes available for the later stages of rider development, and I can also offer bespoke plans on request.
