The pattern file contains full instructions for knitting and finishing off a little pig in a sailor dress with knitted on knickers, socks and shoes. The pattern has over 60 detailed step-by-step photographs along with full pattern instructions and tips for stuffing, seaming and finishing neatly.

Please note however that this project is not a quick or simple knit. It takes around 14 hours to make and finish this little pig and just under half of that time is spent on the finishing off. There are lots of separate pieces which require seaming and sewing and if you are looking for something fast and easy you would probably be better off finding a different pattern. That said this PDF file will give you all of the information that you need to knit the little pig pictured. The pattern is written for knitting flat on two needles and is seamed at the end. It is suitable for intermediate knitting skills.

Materials:

• DK, worsted or light aran yarn (approx 66m): Yarn A

• 4ply weight yarn in 2 contrasting colours for the clothing: Yarn B, Yarn C

• Scraps of black and grey yarn, DK or 4ply for the eyes and nostrils

• Toy stuffing

• A tiny button

Notions:

• Knitting needles: A pair each of 3mm, 2.75mm and 2.5mm

• Tapestry needle
