Elena Voss is an associate with bakery wrists under a blouse and a client who will not sit with his back to the glass. The protective order arrives before the facts do, and somewhere between Davis Islands and a federal corridor there is a privilege log that should not exist. Sealed is the word the firm uses when it wants the looking to stop. Elena keeps looking, which means the causeway stops being scenery and starts being cover, and the file she was hired to protect may be the file that was built to use her.
