The Rhombi Mitts are knit in-the-round from the wrist cuff upwards, beginning with twisted ribbing on smaller needles. Larger needles are used to work the stranded colorwork chart for the hand while the thumb gusset is created using increases. Twisted ribbing finishes off the top of the hand as well as the thumb. The pattern comes with written and charted instructions for two sizes.

SIZES: Small (Large) = 7.25 (8.25)”/18.5 (21) cm around hand above thumb, 6 (7)”/15.25 (17.75) cm around wrist, 6 (7)”/15.25 (17.75) cm tall from CO to BO edge.

GAUGE: 34 sts by 32 rounds = 4”/10cm on larger needles in colorwork pattern.
36 sts by 44 rounds = 4”/10cm on smaller needles in twisted rib.

YARN: 2 skeins (1 per color) of Woolfolk Sno (223 yards/204 meters, 50g/1.76 oz, 100% Merino Wool) in colorways 00+28 (MC in Small sample, CC in Large sample) and 19+20 (CC in Small sample, MC in Large sample), makes two pairs of mitts, one in each size.

Estimate yardage per size:
Small pair: MC - 90 yards, CC - 45 yards
Large pair: MC - 125 yards, CC - 45 yards
Note: Adjusting the length of any repeats in the pattern will affect total yardage.
