Rural Landscape – Knitting Pattern · PDF

An artistic knit inspired by the sculptural texture of ploughed fields and the changing direction of lines across the landscape. Designed by Camilla Ette Gotfredsen in 2014.

Fine linen is paired with a heavier silk/wool blend or cotton, creating contrasts between light, open sections and pronounced textured ridges. A wide neckline and stripes that change direction at the shoulders give the garment its distinctive expression.

The front and back are worked sideways, from side seam to side seam. The sleeves are also worked sideways, followed by picking up stitches along their upper edges to shape the raglan shoulder sections.

NEEDLES

4.5 mm straight needles.

4.5 mm circular needle, 60 cm, for the neckline.

4 mm circular needle, 80 cm, for the lower edge.

17 stitches and 37 rows in Plough Furrow Pattern = 10 × 10 cm.

Rural Landscape – Strikkeopskrift · PDF

En kunstnerisk bluse inspireret af plovfurernes relief og landskabets skiftende linjer. Designet af Camilla Ette Gotfredsen i 2014.

Tynd hør kombineres med tykkere silke/uld eller bomuld og skaber kontraster mellem lette, åbne partier og markante strukturer. Den brede halsudskæring og striberne, der skifter retning ved skuldrene, giver blusen sit særlige udtryk.

For- og bagstykke strikkes på tværs fra sidesøm til sidesøm. Ærmerne strikkes ligeledes på tværs, hvorefter der samles masker op langs deres øverste kant til raglanskulderstykkerne.
