Tatiana: Real-Life Power Smoker - 2 Packs of Cigarettes Per Day!

Tatiana is a genuine real life power smoker! She consumes 2 packets of cigarettes per day and loves EVERY single one of them. She worships ALL cigarettes from strong menthol, Marlboro Red and even filterless!

In total Tatiana smokes 5 cigarettes and indeed POWERS her way through each one! Her drags are often cheek hollowing and she has a unique style where she often drags hard on the filter and relaxes her lips a little before again dragging hard for a second – a double drag one may say. Consequently, Tatiana sometimes drags for up to 4 seconds at a time.

I record Tatiana’s smoking history in detail. I ask very few questions as she covers many areas of her addiction to cigarettes without any prompting. 21 year old Tatiana divulges that she’s been smoking for 7 years, and started as an indirect result of her father:

“I always loved the smell of cigarettes because of association with someone I dearly loved which was my father ”, she explains.

Her father worked away much of the time during her adolescence and thus she conveys to the viewer that she would think of her father when she smelt smoke. Subsequently unlike many smokers, Tatiana loves the smell of smoke on her hands and hair.

I ask Tatiana to explain her memories of her first cigarette. She recounts a detailed narrative of how her and her friend consumed an entire “pack straight away”! The conversation includes memories of coughing on her first cigarettes, head rushes she still gets when she’s not smoked for a long time, running to the corner shop in the morning to acquire more needed cigarettes, the addictive quality of cigarettes, the enjoyment of cigarettes, the pleasure of inhalation and exhaling the smoke, and the fact that men are attracted to her smoking!

The volume of smoke absorbed in her lungs is colossal. But STILL she billows plumes of thick smoke into the ether, sometimes leaning into the camera and exhaling the smoke right into your face.

Tatiana is a dream. I’ve NEVER encountered anybody who smokes so powerfully. The shoot lasted just 40 minutes and during this time Tatiana smoked 5 cigarettes and she wasn’t fazed or intoxicated – such is the capacity of her lungs.
