Collector’s Note
Evening Graze was inspired by the quiet majesty of the African safari and the grounded, spiritual presence elephants carry. The silhouette at sunset symbolizes wisdom, memory, protection, and the gentle strength these animals embody. I have been painting this same tree silhouetted on different backgrounds for many years now. It is my favorite thing to paint.
