Over the years of my spiritual walk with the Lord, I have come across different doctrines on this theme in various Christian denominations: Protestant, Evangelical, Pentecostal, Baptist, Methodist...

Where all branches of Christianity agree is that: Jesus saves.

But the means of obtaining, keeping and living him differ considerably, and this can have certain consequences in our Christian lives.

The aim of this essay, based on the Holy Scriptures and supported by a few quotations from Christian authors and preachers, is above all to appeal to a believing reader.

It would take an entire encyclopedia to write about salvation, so rich and abundant is it. I've had to pick out only the most important subjects, synthesizing them as best I could to keep the whole thing as comprehensible as possible.
