A mock powerlifting meet is very simple. You lift heavy things and try to hit new personal records.
To be more clear, you will be performing 3 lifts:
Squat
Bench Press
Deadlift
You will have 3 attempts at each lift
The competitor who has the highest Wilks score (an official power lifting scoring system) will be declared the winner and will take home a wicked prize (supplement, fitness, health oriented)
The true value of this event is that you get to hit a new, empowering, super exciting personal record on 3 major lifts. It's cool to be strong and trust me, big lifts are something we all can appreciate.
Here's to doing something cool in a room with other weight lifters who are there to cheer you on and hit big numbers themselves.
