The design:
Nouveau Bloom is a highly textured round blanket inspired by the Art Nouveau style of flowing lines and abstract florals.
The design has 54 rounds with an optional extra 4 rounds. The design has several points that you could finish on to make place mats, doilies, wall hangings, table cloths or keep going to the last round for a throw blanket. If done in heavier weight yarns it can become a very sizeable blanket or floor rug.

Nouveau Bloom is an easy level project
Materials needed:
Nouveau Bloom was designed to be made in yarn of any weight. Meterage required will vary based on yarn, hook and crochet style. I am unable to calculate individual requirements.
The sample shown was made in Stenli Candy and a 3.5mm hook. It used 1800m and is 115cm diameter. I separated my two candys into each colour and used them concurrently to make a large gradient.
Stitch markers.
Wool/darning needle.
Gauge: Stenli Candy rounds 1 - 7=12cm
Recommended Hook size:
3-3.5 mm for 4ply
3.5-4 mm for 8ply
4-4.5mm for 10ply

Puff st: see stitch tips
Pc: Popcorn stitch
Bl: Back loop e.g bldc

Sl st: Slip stitch
St: stitch
Ch-sp: Chain space
Fan: a group of dc worked into the same st /sp
