1-2-3 pattern subitising Autumn conkers

A hands-on autumn activity for those first weeks in Reception!

Children subitise amounts of 1, 2 and 3, then copy the patterns using autumn treasures such as conkers, acorns, hazelnuts, leaves, pine cones and sticks (don't worry if you haven't got one or two of the mentioned items, there are enough cards to choose only the ones that go with your resources).

Includes 20 pattern cards (2 per A4 page), with increasing challenge – from simple 1–2–3 patterns to trickier combinations like 3–2–3 and 2–1–3.
