This cute bandana cowl is simple to make with an easy-to-memorize pattern making it an ideal travel project. It is composed of simple knit and purl rows with a couple of easy eyelet rows to keep things interesting.


You can use almost any skein of fingering weight yarn for this project: solid, tonal or variegated. Choose something soft and special.


This cowl is knit from the top-down on circular needles. The bandana shape is formed with increases in one spot, making it a seamless tube!

Note: 50 cm (20”) length can also be used

  • 4 mm (US 6) of any kind for BO (optional)
