Stargazer Shawl by Holli Yeoh
Wrap yourself in this beautiful shawl and head out to gaze at the night skies. Perfect for cool evenings in any season and made all the more scrumptious with a cup of hot cocoa in front of the fire, indoors or out. Made from cozy worsted weight yarn, this shawl can be knit up quickly; in less time than it takes the moon to go from waxing to first quarter! Start at the centre of this shawl and increase quickly to achieve a generous wingspan. The patterning in classic garter stitch is jazzed up with slipped stitch moon beams leading into a starry field of lace diamond motifs. Whether you are a new or seasoned knitter, this is sure to be a classic piece in your wardrobe!Â

Note: River City Yarns Epic Yarn has been discontinued. For substitutions, we recommend Cascade 220 which is also a 100% Peruvian wool, for the closest fibre match. Alternatively, Berroco Ultra Wool or Rowan Pure Wool Worsted would also be good matches if you would like a superwash wool substitution. Â
