Austin, Texas-based electronic composer JJ

Rey (Ambiente Solstice) is primarily known for his

work in the Ambient music genre. His

compositions are introspective lullabies and

ethereal meditations of shifting harmonies that

create colorful tapestries of mood. His four

previous albums, Abandoned Peace, Living

Water, and Cloud Watch with Me released on

Heart Dance Records), in 2021, Falling into

Sleep (Sound Meditation Records), and

Comets Dust (Wayfarer Records) in 2022, have

been widely successful.

His latest release (Wayfarer Records) is an

ambient jazz single called Her Beautiful

Imperfections. He is joined by award-winning

artists Sean O’Bryan Smith and Michael L.

Rogers (ELEON).

He believes that song intros, in any genre, are

important in capturing the listeners attention within

the first 30 secs. He adds that the first 1 min and

30 secs is crucial in getting the listener to remain

and go on the journey. It is his hope that his song

intros will give you the inspiration to create your

own wonderful sonic journeys.
