The Only Friend
Before he became my friend, he was my only enemy.
It began one quiet summer, when someone I had known since childhood finally got my attention. I fought him. I tried to forget him. I even studied him. Every time, he came back stronger.
Then one small moment with a pen and a pencil changed how I saw everything.
The Only Friend is a short, honest, first-person story about moving from resistance to understanding. Along the way it asks why we hold ourselves back from what we want, how fear can hide behind a mask, why rest matters (and when it becomes a trap), and what it means to fall, restart and build trust in yourself.
It is written in plain, conversational language and comes entirely from lived experience. It's a short read you can finish in one sitting, and a five-step guide at the end gives you simple questions to carry with you.
If you've ever felt stuck between who you are and who you want to be, you may find you already have this friend too.
