Celebrate National Literacy Month, International Literacy Day, Read a Book Day, and Library Card Sign-Up Month with a story-powered collection designed to help children read, write, think, create, and discover the joy of books!

The Reggie Brown Reads September Literacy Collection brings together original reading passages, comprehension activities, creative writing prompts, bilingual learning, early literacy resources, logic challenges, and library-themed enrichment. Students will explore the many ways books and libraries help people learn, connect across cultures, and become confident lifelong readers.

This flexible collection includes resources for upper-elementary readers, along with a special preschool and kindergarten section featuring Reggie’s younger cousin, Kiana.

In the original story ¡Leemos Juntos!, CeCe celebrates literacy with family members in Baltimore, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica. Students discover how books, stories, and language can connect families—even when they live far apart.

Students imagine what might happen inside a library after everyone goes home. Do the books come alive? Do the characters begin new adventures?

Story Starter

Students jump into the middle of an exciting story and use their imaginations to create an original ending.

Sparkly Purple Binder Challenges

Reggie’s favorite binder is packed with two additional literacy and logic activities:
