For nearly a century Moody Monthly magazine and its predecessors, published by Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL served as a popular and valuable Christian resource for ministers, missionaries, musicians, students, teachers and Bible students of all ages. Its stated purpose was: “Devoted to Bible knowledge and interpretation: news and methods of world-wide Christian work: editorial comments on current events and conditions, inspirational verse and selected miscellany: catholic in spirit and outlook: evangelical and evangelistic: contending for the faith delivered once for all to the saints.” — Though it ceased publication in 2003, the 33,000+ pages in this 504-issue collection (ranging from 1911 - 1961, Indexes included!) provides invaluable information and news of events, personalities, movements, etc. of the times from a Christian perspective. Numerous Bible study and church resources are found within its pages, as well as countless other helpful materials; not the least of which is the treasured “In the Study” by Wilbur M.
