Buttercup Shawl Knitting Pattern PDF - The Princess Bride

A crescent shaped shawl inspired by Buttercup from The Princess Bride. When I think of Buttercup I immediately think of her red dress she wears with the gold belt, and I wanted to translate that into this shawl. Worked from the top down, it has garter sections which are broken up by bands of lace and beads and ends with a romantic lace section. A garter edge and a picot bind off finishes the shawl off.

You will need:

400yds fingering weight yarn
4mm needles
stitch markers 

Optional: Beads and a small crochet hook to add them
