Anticosti
When a French Canadian local-news-and-features writer gets laid-off during the Covid-19 pandemic, he soon realizes that 'the time is now' to write that first-ever novel. However, he seeks a drastic change of setting to trigger latent originality. Initially, Jacques doesn't even have the vaguest outline of a plot. But then an irretractable story suddenly finds him on Anticosti Island (at the mouth of the St. Lawrence River). What will the lady of the cottage do? Will she survive to tell?
If an American movie, it would probably be rated PG-13.
