Table Slayer ExtendScript for InDesign

The TableSlayer Extendscript (created with help from Gemini) for InDesign is now available as a Pay As You Like. I offer no support but welcome feedback if you find a problem.

The script scans your InDesign doc and finds tables with the same column widths, which it then puts into groups. Then you can apply the following to your group:

- Change column widths (doing so spaces out or subtracts from other columns unless you lock them first)

- Change column text

- Adjust the table width to a fixed dimension or fit it to the text box width (lock a column so the width isn't affected)

- Add and delete columns (with editable column header text)

- Make character styles for each individual column heading (handy for language version adjustments such as individual kerning or font size)

- Create and/or apply existing Table and Cell styles (for header and body cell)
