The brand book you hand a client, with the palette they can copy as code.

The problem with most brand guidelines sites

They look finished and they are not. Ten chapter headings, three of them written. A colour section that shows swatches but makes the developer squint at a screenshot to get the hex. A phone layout nobody opened.

Halden is the other thing.

What you get

Ten chapters, all of them real. Overview, story, the mark, misuse, colour, type, imagery, voice, applications, assets. Every one written through, so you can hand it to a client on day one and replace the words at your own pace.

A colour system that survives handoff. Click any swatch and the hex is on the clipboard. Or hit one button and take the entire palette out as CSS custom properties, Tailwind config, SCSS variables, JSON design tokens, or Swift UIColor. No competing template does this. It is the difference between a document a developer reads and a document a developer uses.

A logo system, not a logo picture. Primary, reversed, stacked, symbol alone. Clear space drawn with the X measure. Minimum size for screen and for print. Six misuse specimens shown as specimens, because "do not stretch the logo" means less than a stretched logo.

Typography that holds. Clash Display for the chapter openings, Italiana for the wordmark, Fragment Mono for the labels, Switzer for reading. A type scale you can retune from one place.

Three breakpoints, done by hand. Desktop 1200, Tablet 810, Phone 390. Every grid was measured at each width, not left to reflow on its own. Motion switches off for visitors whose system asks for it.

Who it is for

Studios and independent designers who have finished an identity and now have to document it. Also in-house teams who need one place the rest of the company can be pointed at.

How it works

Buy, and you get the Framer Remix link. Remix it into your own Framer account. Swap the colours, the type, the wordmark and the words. Publish on your own domain, or export the site.

You need a Framer account. The free plan is enough to build; publishing on your own domain needs a paid Framer plan, which is Framer's charge and not mine.

What it is not

It is not a logo design service, and it will not write your brand strategy. It is the container. The thinking is yours.
