Cinderhall Doom and Sludge: Drop B MIDI (Pack 11)

CINDERHALL DOOM AND SLUDGE

Doom and sludge for 6-string guitar and 4-string bass in Drop B. Slow crushing riffs, swung sludge grooves, long sustained chords with crash washes, feedback-style held notes, clean passages, tom-heavy breaks and bluesy leads. Eight arrangements:

FULL OR SPLIT PARTS, NOT BOTH

Load the FULL file or the split parts, never both, or every note plays twice.

SWING, FEEDBACK AND CLEAN PARTS

Swing is written into the note placement (2/3 + 1/3 triplet feel), so leave your DAW's swing setting off. Feedback sections are long held high notes with no pitch bend or CC data. Clean sections are on the same guitar track as the heavy riffs; section markers in each file show where they start.

SET YOUR TUNING TO DROP B

Guitar (6-string): B1 F#2 B2 E3 G#3 C#4. Bass (4-string): B0 F#1 B1 E2.

All eight arrangements use Drop B, including the two in E minor. Guitar MIDI 35 to 75 and lead MIDI 57 to 71. Bass MIDI 23 to 48, down to a low B0, so a 4-string bass needs Drop B tuning (or use a 5-string).

Tempos run from 55 to 110 BPM.

FORMAT

Standard MIDI files, format 1, 960 PPQ. Time signature 4/4. GM drums on channel 10; guitar on channel 1, bass on 2, lead on 3. Not tested with specific DAWs or operating systems.

LICENCE
