Sock Knitting Pattern:
During the change of the season from winter to spring, I was thinking about shortie socks and thought a nice peek of lace would be a beautiful focal point. The windflower is a delicate wildflower that grows close to the ground, which is what this delicate, lace, shortie sock represents to me. Autumn and Indigo Fibers dyes such beautiful and soft colors that pair so well with the new growth of the spring season. Any of her colors would be a wonderful pairing with these socks.
This is a top down sock with a traditional heel flap. It is worked using magic loop; needle 1 will be the front of the foot/cuff and needle 2 will be the back of the foot/cuff and heel.
Sizes: 1 (2,3,4)
To fit 8.75-9 (9-9.25,9.5-9.75,10-10.25)” foot circumference with about 0.75-1” negative ease.
40-70g fingering weight yarn
Sample was knit in size 1 and used 40g Autumn and Indigo Fibers Classic Sock (463 yds/100g) in colorway Cane.
