This album is about almost 15 years in the making. As no surprise, this is obviouly the longest time I ever worked on something at all. Even the title for this record set for about 11-12 years already. It's not a stretch to state, there where hundreds of tracks used, re-edited, remixed, deleted or re-combined of this time. Almost ANY synthesizer I ever got my hands on was used somewhere deep in the mix. Tons of samples and electronically created noises are buried in the tracks somewhere. So no fancy list of instruments here.
Isolation Sleep is about a virtual trip to a distant star which goes not as planned but finally finds its goal. The passengers are isolated from the events and disasters by the cryosleep all the time and find themselves on an alien planet at the end of the journey.
I don't know, if this is my "best album" or "most ambitious" or "best sounding". It's simply a very intense and dark album.
