Your Renewals and Free-Trials Radar with a ChatGPT Dot (free ebook) | Kitson Explains, Book 4

A free book from Kitson Explains: how to have a ChatGPT dot keep one list of the renewals, free trials and bills it finds in your email, and warn you in good time. It never cancels, pays or clicks links for you.

What is inside (41 pages, a regular book in plain prose):

• What a dot is, in plain words, from OpenAI's own pages
• Why a renewals radar is a careful, useful job to hand over
• A full setup walkthrough: the apps to connect, the schedule, and the Custom Rules for each action
• Three instructions you can copy: a weekly radar, a 30-day free-trial watch, and a once-a-year review
• The privacy settings to review, your first week, and what to do when something goes wrong
• Honest limits, and when not to use it

Free to download, print and share unchanged for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't sell it.

Please note: dots need a paid ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium plan (or an Enterprise workspace where your admin has switched them on), and you must be 18 or over. At the time of writing (October 2026), Pro is not offered in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland. Facts were checked on OpenAI's own pages on 2 October 2026 and may change.

The free video for this book is on the Kitson Workshop YouTube channel, in the Kitson Explains playlist. More at kitson-workshop.pages.dev
