This is the second design in the Mother’s Love Pattern Collection and I hope you like it.
The Collection has been inspired by a lovely lady I know who was having her first baby.
The Heart Lace design and the Lacy Edging are a great combination

Construction - This design is knitted from the centre out in one piece, with the edge attached sideways at the end

Finished Size - 36" / 91cm square

Yarn Requirements - Main Colour - 600m / 654yds
                                   Contrast Colour - 400m / 436yds
The sample was knitted using West Yorkshite Spinners Bo Peep 4ply, which is a 52% Falkland Wool/48% Nylon blend with 200m / 218yds per 50g ball

Needles - 3.5mm, double pointed and circular needles (60cm and 80cm)

Gauge - 20sts x 34 rows over 4" / 10cm in main stictch pattern, after blocking.
Gauge is not crucial to this project, but it will affect yardage required and finished measurements. This design could be knitted in any weight yarn.
