Indonesia Awaits - Indonesian Entry Requirements

It’s unavoidable to get away from officialdom and paperwork. Even though we say

we have the freedom to go wherever the wind blows us, I sometimes think we are

never free spirits. Somebody somewhere wants all of your details. It is no different

whichever country we visit there are always visas to organise, time restrictions on

those visas and fees to pay.

Indonesia is no different except for the way they treat you with a wonderful warm

reception and smiles all the way around. We of course have heard of the reverse

but we have never been on the receiving end of bad treatment from any officials in

this country. Everything takes longer in Indonesia, there is no rush and definitely no

urgency. Show respect and be courteous at all times.
